Case Study: Banyan Tree

When you operate a 5 star luxury resort, the pressure is on to deliver a top notch experience to your guests. Everything has to be perfect from check-in to check-out, from the scent of the lobby to mint on the pillow.  Banyan Tree asked us to create a luxurious, well manicured coffee solution for their 2nd floor lounge.



Banyan Tree understands that in order to properly cater to their clientele they need to put the customer at the forefront of their decisions.  This approach shone through the process of making their custom blends – meticulous tasting with both the needs of the hotel and feedback of customers guiding their decision. What we came out with was two fantastic blends – one house blend and a rotating seasonal espresso. With this as the base we created a specialized menu of 5 coffee beverages, all based on their two carefully picked blends.  We used only specialty grade beans which are roasted locally in Shanghai to ensure their customers are served only high quality, fresh coffee.
